overview

crmac is available as a series of products, roughly separated into the three categories described below.
Most of the products may also be used as an online service in the net; in addition to the web-interface, a SOAP interface is also available.

'raw' engines

raw engines consist of only the rule engine; there are no rulesets included. They are separated concerning features and volume.

specialised engines (solutions)

specialised engines consist of the rule engine and a specific rule set for a defined application. The underlying rule engine has been modified to not accept other rulesets.

experimental engines

experimental engines are special first views on new features of crmac. They are prone to misbehaviour and are by no means usable for anything 'serious'. Appearance of a feature in an experimental engine does not guarantee that this feature will be part of a production release any time.
